Yes, the Heart Shaped World professional reader course is now ready to roll. It is built around a book (The Tarot Professional) which covers every aspect of reading professionally, from in depth knowledge of the cards, by way of managing party bookings, listing email readings (with or without eBay!) and completing your tax return on-line; not to mention sections on hypnotic suggestion, astrology, graphic design, website building... and with ten assignment topics that guide the student's knowledge then thoroughly revise and test it. Finally comes accreditation through a series of real life readings, accreditation being achieved with suitable feedback from real customers. It isn't a degree or even a certificate but the accreditation is all about confidence and confirms that the apprentice has reached a level of competence in all aspects of her reading skills and can happily go solo. Throughout there is online advice and guidance, with a special group and forum reserved on this site. Graduates are welcome to use the Heart Shaped World logo with their accreditation and can have a page on the main website to advertise their readings.
I am still building the links section at the moment and would welcome any recommendations from Heartians for their local readers (of the face to face persuasion). With links from eBay, Yahoo & Google's local services, it's planned to provide a helpful directory service for people looking for a tarot reader in their area. This applies anywhere - UK, Australia, Canada, USA... if you know someone deserving of a plug, plug them here!
